In this collection Rowan works with the theme of light in the darkness.
Using dynamic skies and dark dramatic clouds to contrast light bursting forth, she explores the depths of feeling this juxtaposition of light and dark evokes.
On a deeper level, through this process Rowan looks at the meaning of light and how to find it, as a seed of hope in dark times, by connecting to the spiritual within nature and the self.
